SMG Succulents (formerly Squaw Mountain Gardens) is a small nursery located in the foothills of Mount Hood in Oregon not far from Portland.  The nursery is an outgrowth of a plant collection begun many years ago by John and Joyce Hoekstra.  They began selling plants part-time in 1983.  Over time the nursery has grown to become a full time business shipping hardy succulents to destinations in the United States.
