Ordering/Shipping

General

All prices listed are in US dollars.

We ship to all destinations (domestic or international) only by using US Priority mail.

Shipping Season

We ship plants all year long.

During certain times of the year when we are very busy, there may be a wait-time before we are able to ship your order. All orders are filled in the order in which they are received.

Discretion should be observed when ordering tender plants during inclement weather.

How plants are shipped

Plants are packed in individual bags with an identifying label. The label is weather-proof and will not fade or break for several months. It is not intended for long-term use.

Sempervivum and Jovibarba are shipped bare-root.

For Sempervivum you will receive a larger rosette and at least 2 offsets for most varieties. If the rosettes are naturally small you will instead receive a clump of rosettes. 

Jovibarba rollers are naturally quite small. We send a larger rosette and many offsets.

Jovibarba heuffelii generally are shipped as a clump, or sometimes as several smaller clumps.

Hardy Sedum is shipped with a partial rootball which is wrapped.

Haworthia/Gasteria and other tender succulents are shipped with a small  wrapped rootball attached.

Domestic Shipping

All shipments to US destinations (and territories) with zip codes are shipped via USPS Priority mail. Shipping is predicated upon the total dollar amount of the order and the location to which they are shipped. Priority mail is typically delivered in 1-3 business days. Holidays may cause deliveries to take longer.

International Shipping

We can ship to international destinations where mailing regulations allow it. We only use US Priority International mail.

We do not accept orders for the following destinations:  Canada, Korea

We can only accept PAYPAL for international payments.

We follow USDA guidelines for international export. This includes the procurement of phytosanitary certificates on your behalf.  The cost for the certificate is currently $31.00 USD. This fee is automatically included in the shipping amount.

International customers should contact your agricultural department for information about any additional permits, import duty, or any other restrictions that may apply.

We do not guarantee that plants will live.

International shipments are made at the customers risk. We do not compensate for any shipment that is late, damaged, or misdirected.
